All Cync plugs and bulbs, including Soft White and Tunable White bulbs, can be paired with your Google Nest or Home speaker or display. You can connect up to 6 Cync bulbs and plugs with each speaker or display. Follow the steps to set up smart home devices. Cync switches use different setup steps than bulbs or plugs. After you open the Google Home app, tap Add Set up deviceWorks with Google. After you connect your smart devices in the Google Home app, you can use the Google Home app to control them.

Another unknown is how widespread this problem is. Make sure the outlet receives power. Check that your wall switch is on.

But beyond that, I'm having the same issue, from the admittedly light description. If I try to add it from the Home app, nothing happens. If I try it from in the CbyGE app, Home opens up then freezes. I then just created a switch that sends the command that I want with the code above. Basically it just pretends like I actually said the command to my Google home.

I am new to the forum. Not sure if you are asking me. If so, it does not support switch yet since I don’t have a dimmer switch. You might need to analyze the code and adopt to you needs. Integrate Google Assistant and use that to send ‘voice’ commands to google to turn them off.

Over the past 24 hours, those within the Google Home ecosystem have reported that their C by GE light bulbs are not turning on. There’s fortunately a quick fix that does not require resetting the fixtures manually. Out of home, but in control. Cync or C by GE Smart Bulbs, Strips, and Plugs can be set up directly with Google devices. Follow the in-app instructions to complete setup. It disconnects the device for all members of the home. At the top, select the home with the room you want to delete.
